Other examples from this deposit carry the same in- scription; cf. P 24912 Hesperia, XXV, 1956, pl. 22 d, the graffito read as the first two letters of a name. Also from this deposit, uninscribed, P 24666 Hesperia, XXVII, 1958, pl. 47 d and p. 188, notes 13, 14 (Amyx); the capacity was measured as "6.9 litres or a little more than 2 choes (not quite 1/5 of the standard Attic amphora)".
