Two-thirds of upper wall, half of lower wall, and handles missing.

Nonjoining fragment (not illustrated) preserves part of decoration.

Scraped groove between moldings of foot; broad, beveled resting surface; pointed underside. Vertical incised branch in center with two white fillets hanging down on either side; flanked by bunches of grapes and two incised hanging fillets; grapes in white, tendrils and leaf incised. Dull black glaze, stacking line.

Incised Wave Group.

Use of incision for these motifs is unusual; cf. P 31803 (Rotroff 1991, no. 82, p. 88, pl. 34 [E 3:1]) for incised fillets.
