Two non-joining bowl fragments. Max. dim. a) 0.038, b) 0.022.

I, satyr to right. Fragment a preserves most of his head and the start of his outstretched left arm. It is uncertain what is on fragment b: curved object decorated with a vine(?). Reserved line for tondo border. A (not illustrated), uncertain subject. Fragment a shows what looks like the lower drapery of a figure or an object and on the right, a foot to left. Fragment b preserves part of the handle palmette. Below, reserved line.

The satyr was probably pursuing a maenad, and the composition may have looked something like the one in the tondo of Montauban 19 by the Well Painter (ARV2 1221, 14).
