Mended from many fragments with the missing pieces restored in plaster and painted, notably nearly all the lip and about half of the foot. Profile complete. H. 0.076; est. diam. at rim 0.16; diam. of tondo 0.095; diam. of foot 0.09. E. Vanderpool, Hesperia 15, 1946, p. 283, cat. no. 42, pl. 33.
I, satyr reclining to left, looking down at a wreathed, pointed amphora. Around the neck of the amphora is a string, which suggests that it is still sealed. At the right, an animal pelt(?). Uneven reserved line for tondo border. Relief contour. Dilute glaze: muscles.
For the amphora as sealed, see E. Vanderpool, Hesperia 15, 1946, p. 283, cat. no. 42.
