Maenads. At the left is a maenad (from the hips up) to left, holding a bulky object (a tympanon[?]) in her outstretched hands. Behind her is a tree with fruit, then a second maenad (from mid-thighs up) standing frontally, her head in profile to right, looking at another maenad (right wrist and hand). Each maenad wears a peplos, a fillet around her head, and a bracelet on each wrist. The second maenad holds a thyrsos at waist level. Above, egg pattern with dots. Relief contour: profiles; napes. White (flaked): fillets.
