Description: | Rim fragment from straight sided pyxis with flat base and vertical sides. Red paint on creamy - buff ground. ADDENDA 2018: Single sherd to a small closed shape with collar neck and vertical lipless rim. The exterior decoration consists of a wide band running below the rim. The rim is monochrome. Only the lip is painted on the interior. The paint is thick and evenly applied, fired red. There are no traces of use-wear or burning. | |
