Title:   Rim Fragment of a Round-Mouthed Jug
Description:   Preserves part of high, vertical neck and flaring round mouth.
Neck reserved and decorated with a row of pointed-handled tripod-cauldrons. Inside unglazed as far as preserved, except for three glaze bands at rim.
For depictions of tripod-cauldrons on Geometric vases, see S. Benton, B.S.A. 35, 1934-1935, pp. 102-108. None of those listed is like the tripods on our fragment, with streamer-like wavy lines between the legs; for tripods quite like ours, see C.V.A., Reading 1[12], 8[535], 5.
