Herringbone on rim; pear-shaped discus, with jewelled Christian cross; tail of "rho" to right; three filling holes between the arms of the cross. Handle solid, with a row of gouges on the front and a single groove below. On the reverse, a double almond-shaped groove, with impressed circles and a palm branch. Unglazed. Pinkish-buff clay, grayed. Type XXVIII of Corinth collection. | |
