Description:   Sharply double convex body, with large solid knob on left side.
On top, wide raised band, sloping down toward filling hole.
Long nozzle, rounded at end, the nozzle broadening toward the tip, where the wick hole is surrounded by a flattened band continuous with the small flattened top of the nozzle.
Dull gray glaze, all over.
Pale gray clay.
Type XIX (Ephesus type: undecorated) of Corinth collection, Misc. Moulded type of Agora collection.
ADDENDA Lamps L 551 to L 559 found together. A number of fragmentary lamps from the same pithos have been boxed separately, along with the finer sherds. See also pottery 589-630.
