Title:   Black Figure Amphora Fragment

Description:   Mended from nine pieces. Most of the base preserved, the lower part of one panel and the lower left corner of the other (no figures). Decoration in panels. In the better-preserved panel: to the right, most of a warrior left, wearing greaves and carrying a shield (seen in persective?); in the center, lower part of a draped figure, left; to the left, remains of what may have been a draped figure seated right, from which a small figure scantily clothed, runs right over the edge of the panel. Added red on the greaves, shield(?), skirt hem, the garment of the running figure and framing the panel. Above the foot a reserved band with rays. Underside unglazed.
