Description: | Mended from many pieces; fragments of rim, wall and base missing; restored in plaster. Flaring ring foot, plain lip. The handles, attached just below the lip, are much elongated, but not proportionately contracted at the attachments. Firm black glaze, dull inside, rather metallic outside, all over except within foot-ring; this space reserved, reddened, and decorated at the center with a black glaze dot and a wide and a narrow circle. | |
