Description:   Part of the center of a Late Roman C plate. Stamped decoration: an animal is running to the left; in body it resembles a hare. The head (the front end of which was never impressed) has a great round eye and a mane. The bottom of the plate is slightly concave.
Brick red clay with bits; dull glaze on inside.
Context:   Disturbed fill.
