Description:   Neck of a large plain amphora, the neck tapering slightly to a heavy rim rounded outside. Handles, from well below rim, missing.
Very heavy fabric of coarse red clay with many bits; light buff slip.
Possibly used as a pot stand? Cf. P 19203 (ΠΠ 452).
Notes:   Previously North Basement-Jar Fragments, Block IX (Late 2nd.-3rd. c. A.D.).
