Title:   Bowl Fragment with Applied Decoration

Description:   Late Roman A bowl fragment. The flaring side of the bowl turns outward to form a flat rim. Along the outer edge, a wheel-run groove. Elaborately modelled dolphin in relief, apparently moulded separately and applied, is preserved complete.
Bright red clay; red glaze wash on the inside and in streaks on the outside.
Context:   Trench Π, outside house to east.
