Description: | Neck, part of shoulder, most of one handle and the start of the other preserved. Short neck; very heavy projecting rounded rim; rising band handles attached near base of neck. Coarse pitted fabric, pinkish, with gray core; remains of light buff surfacing. Rim and shoulder covered originally with dull black glaze, now flaked. Non-joining fragment of same pot(?) stored in tin with pithos fragments. | |
