Description: | Missing all one handle, part of another, and about half rim and body. Restored in plaster. Spreading echinus-like foot, scored around line of junction with body. Slightly rounded resting surface. Inner face of foot rises gently to meet underside of floor which is curved. High ovoid body. Low shoulder. High, slightly flaring neck. Flat rim, projecting toward the outside and overhanging. Columnar handles, rooted in the shoulder, bent outwards, and joined along the top to the side of the rim. Black glaze, mostly fired red, covers whole vase inside and out, except for undersurface of foot and floor, which is reserved, also undersurface of rim and occasionally the lower half of its outside edge.
