Description: | Broken all around. Fragment from upper part of stand, nuptial lebes, type l. The projecting upper member of the stand glazed black; below, a reserved band decorated with rosettes. On the wall, part of the head and shoulders of a draped female figure standing, left; a double fillet around her hair; hanging on the wall behind her, a scarf. Further to right, a Doric column, and beyond that, traces of the drapery of another figure. No relief contour. Added clay for the fillet. Traces of miltos in the groove setting off the bowl above, and remains of a white deposit on its floor. Cf. P 15207, attributed to Naples Painter, ca. 440 B.C.
