Description: | Mended from many pieces; a bit of the rim and wall missing. Very small flat bottom; bomb-shaped body, horizontally ribbed, with wide mouth and slightly flaring rim. Very similar to P 2276 but the rim more sharply profiled, and the shape squatter. Thin fabric, coarse and micaceous, fired almost entirely gray. There are an additional four similar jars complete, and fragments of numerous others. | |
