Description: | From a large duck askos, spout and a little of shoulder preserved. Dirty reddish-brown clay covered with light cream slip; dull black glaze on neck and outside of rim and for a broad band around shoulder. Two non-joining wall fragments left in tray, along with other askos spouts. East Greek? ADDENDA From this same deposit the top of a jar also East Greek probably (P 26363). Fabric not just the same, but related. Wavy line around top of neck, drawn in below flaring rim [VRG]. | |
