Description: | At the upper edge of the fragment, part of a band of brownish-black glaze; at the lower right corner, remains of an object painted and incised. From the right edge of the fragment two legs project toward the left, both broken below the knees, stretched out horizontally, with feet upturned. Legs painted in brownish-black glaze; incision indicates ankle bones and sets off one leg from the other where they overlap. Attic clay; heavy black glaze inside, part of which has turned a silvery gray, as if from fire(?). ADDENDA Apparently same pot as P 1127. | |
