Title:   Black Glaze Kantharos: Stamped

Description:   Mended from three pieces; about half preserved, all but part of one handle missing. Moulded ring foot, narrow resting surface, slightly bevelled, reserved. Underside has reserved band at edge, reserved center with two glazed circles. Foot offset from body, with scraped groove at junction. Globular body. Thickened rim, concave to outside, offset on exterior. High-swung handles. On floor, incised circle with ovals carelessly applied around it, four palmettes stamped within it.
Black glaze, clay partly fired gray.
