Description:   Four non-joining fragments: a) floor to rim fragment, b) rim fragment, c) wall fragment and d) floor fragment. Flaking badly. Broad plain flat floor; low steep wall curving out to a thickened triangular overhanging rim, defined on top by a groove. Angle/offset on inside at base of wall, and a fine groove above. Low ledge-foot of normal type, with sloping inner face marked off by a small ridge at inner edge.
Flaky brick-red clay with very fine mica flecks. Smooth red gloss, poorly preserved. Upper surface of floor badly scratched.
Unclassified shape, copying early Italian sigillata.
