Description: | Two joining pieces preserve two thirds of bottom. Flat floor, with stump of a sloping wall at edge. Under outer part, a low tilted foot ring. Prominent turning-marks forming ridges on bottom. Decoration in dull white covering floor: two large upright palmette sprays, flanking a small plant motif with wavy tendril at top. Orange-brown clay; dull red slip ending at footring; bottom left plain. Context similar in date to deposit L-M 11-12:1. Cf. Agora XXXII, no. 1165 (P 33814). | |
