Description: | From the upper wall of a large lebes. The rim is broken away. Just below rim is a band of running dog pattern. To the left, the head of a panther, full face, right; to the right the edge of the head of another beast facing left. Between them a goose to right. In the field between the animals' heads a rosette with petals and sepals, and two zigzag lines. Purple for the mane of the panther, probably white for the sepals of the rosette. Free incision. The black glaze is much flaked. | |
