Description: | Wall fragments, a) mended from several pieces; b) from two. On both, part of the lower border, meander broken by checkerboard square, preserved. On a) parts of three figures: a female figure, flesh and garment white with yellow overpainting, sits left, holding a staff (thyrsos) in her right hand. Toward her, right, a satyr, nude save for a spotted skin over his left side, and covering his outstretched left hand. Behind him, also right, the feet and bottom of the bordered dress of a dancing female figure. On b) the lower part of a female figure, dancing, left; at left, the hand and arm of a satyr, holding a thyrsos; a spotted skin thrown over the arm. No relief contour; brown wash on the skins; a yellow and white much peeled from the central figure. | |
