Category: | Sculpture | |
Description: | Two medallions of different scales sunk into the surface: at left, arm and bit of drapery of figure seated to left; at right, smaller seated figure wearing elaborate drapery. Between these medallions perhaps a relief column and below it, in low relief, two Erotes moving to left, the front one with bowed head and lowered torch; the one behind, smiling, supports him by the left arm. Surface somewhat peeled. Perhaps a sculptor's study piece for a metal relief. Soft yellow poros. | |
