Title:   Statuette Fragment: Draped Standing Female

Description:   The lower part of a standing female statuette; it is broken above the waist and below the knees; part of the back is flattened.
The dress is a Doric chiton with the apoptygma hanging to the hips; the lower part of the garment shows archaistic treatment, with a broad flat fold between the legs, and flat zigzag folds on either side. The right hand touches these folds at the hip. Attached to the figure to the right is an unidentified fragment of the marble.
Pentelic marble.
