Description: | Several joining fragments preserve much of the upper part, and part of the flaring base on one side; nothing of the lower edge. Rectangular object, the walls flaring to a plain rim flat on top. Highest at the corners, the wall between cut down. At junction of upper and lower parts, a raised band with a row of ovules, moulded. Applied on each face, above, a head, frontal, with abundat hair; wreathed (?). Below, on the one preserved face, a horned satyr's head, superimposed on a garland. Faint traces of white. Pinkish-buff clay; the interior very rough. | |
