Title:   Head Fragment of Horse Figurine

Description:   Broken at neck just below chin. Right ear missing, part of right side of face, top of mane, and tip of left ear.
Very finely crafted horsehead with incised mane.
Traces of gilding on top of head and on muzzle. Also trace of red in left nostril.
Pinkish buff clay with white slip.
Context:   North of wall 21. Bucket 6.
Handling:   In box with fitted ethafoam
left only when necessary by break areas at neck and between ears.
