APC Image: AK 1017Fragment of a white ground kylix. On the exterior, quadriga. {Acropolis II 429 and II 431}. On the outside is a helmeted head of a warrior to the left, with part of the spear or goad in his hand (top centre fragment). The fragment on the right {429} gives one of the handles and the palmette under it. The fragment on the left, associated with Acropolis 431 by Landlotz belongs rather with the other two fragments. Its quadriga probably goes with the warrior. he scene on the outside of the cup would therefore be a quadriga to the left with a warrior either driving the car or hastening along on foot nearby. The interpretation of the subject of the interior is as yet impossible.
