Notes: | April 28 (p. 57-58) Using Basket #3 we removed Wall #16. [Finds stamp.] Wall #16, running E-W at ΟΣΤ-ΠΑ/96-94, was discovered on April 26 in fill #8 of April 25. It had an average thickness of .60 m, an upper level of +85.756, and a lower level of +84.756. It is constructed of large square blocks joined with mortar. It is earlier than Walls #1, #4, #2 and #13, later than Wall #15 and strosis #15. The south face of Wall #16 is shown in photograph #10 (Neg. 61-5-11; Ph. Vol. 18, p. 27). | |
