| Notes: | Grid 74-A. Pottery: c.75 sherds, mostly small coarse & cooking; class & hell , early roman coin: 1976-303 (roman, 375-378CE) Area between WS639_007 & WS639_008 (below bskt 160). Stratum runs up against both wall. Another floor at 83.092 - east end of WS639_008 rests on top of floor, as do west end of both. No trace of foundation trenches. Not clear which wall is earlier. WS639_008 has no northern foundation trench & for at least 1/2 its lenth in this trench it rests on the lower floor found w/ bskt 161. WS639_008 would seem to be earlier - curves slightly to north at east end. WS639_007 has smooth face to east end of WS639_008 should then be later. See NB649, bskt 1. | |
