Corinth Basket: NB83 B56 P18
Collection:   Corinth
Type:   Basket
Name:   NB83 B56 P18
Area:   Korakou
Category:   Basket/zembil
Notebook:   83
Context:   56
Page:   18
Date:   1916/06/08
Stratum:   East Alley I south
Notes:   We dug up the south sect. of East Aisle (see pg. 16) to a lower depth of 5 cm. The sherds found in this level were preserved separately.
[James-Nakassis: In order to keep our terminology the same as that of Scott, we are calling this basket the 2nd pass of the S section of the East Alley I]
Tzonou-Herbst= Why is this not EA, South Section III? Especially since the pottery is preserved separately. Where is II-1?
[Nakassis: EA south II is NB 83 B 80. The pottery of NB 83 B 56 is kept separately according to Scott, but in Blegen's pottery notes all the pottery from EA I, II, etc. is lumped together. In any case, it does not really matter as EA I-IV almost certainly represent a single homogenous fill (Rutter 1974: 97).]
