Stratum:   small rounded pebbles in medium grayish brown soil, part of foundation for wall 245, cut by RT 234R to N
Notes:   B37 begins as the cleaning of the wall labelled "intrusion wall 245" (see basket 16, pp. 40-41; see also photography pp. 64, 92). A wall of medium cobbles, broken roof tiles, and smaller cobbles, pebbles and rough gravel is exposed under a shallow surface of a dark grayish brown dirt. Further south the makeup of the wall is more gravelley as it approaches the juncture with the northern edge of the cistern.
