Stratum:   Deposit east of Wall 190. Dark yellowish brown sandy clay with rare small cobbles rounded ot subrounded 5-10% pebbles of all sizes, angular and subrounded, ill-sorted.
Notes:   Basket 94 is an area of soil that abuts the east side of Wall 190, except where interrupted by B87 and extends approx. 75 cm to the south along the west end of Wall 244. The soil appeared gray in color when left exposed before excavation and met the reddish soil of B92 in a boundary that was clear in most places but diffuse in others. When dug the soil is a dark yellowish brown sandy clay with 5-10% pebbles and rare cobbles that are ill-sorted. The purpose of excavating this basket is to determine its relationship to the red soil of B92 and the red soil beneath B92 and to find the extent of the gray area. This basket extends beneath the distubed stones at the western end of Wall 244 and the southern end of Wall 190, therefore we are removing these stones to see how far this basket extends. After removing a few of the stones at the southern end of Wall 190, we found that this basket does extend further to the south and possibly to the west, but we are not going to continue to remove the disturbed stones to find the full extent. A pocket of grey clay was left at the NW corner of wall 244.
