Corinth Basket: NB977 B25 P71
Collection:   Corinth
Type:   Basket
Name:   NB977 B25 P71
Area:   Panaghia north
Category:   Basket/zembil
Notebook:   977
Context:   25
Page:   71
Date:   2006/05/04
Stratum:   Fill above Wall 291. Medium brownish brown compact sandy silt with 2-5 % tile fragments and pebbles of all sizes
Notes:   We started the basket to level the trench and look for a continuation of the E-W blocks in wall 291. The soil gets a little harder and more of a reddish, blackish mix near the edge of the Pit 2006-02 but we continued digging as this basket is just fill and that soil change is probably light contamination from the pit. We ended B25 arbitrarily to take the soil around the blocks of wall 291 away in a closed context/basket.
