Stratum:   Possible fill from robbed out block
Notes:   Basket 16 is the removal of a white patch that apeared while making a pass across the area (B 12). The patch is located to the W of the column and to the NW of the stones that possibly form part of the gutter that runs on axis further S. The soil is compacted sandy silt with a light brown color. The basket 15 pass was interrupted in order to dig the light patch (basket 16) and the basket 15 soil was left around the light patch to avoid contamination. The light patch appears to have square edges and is roughly the same directions as some of the hellenistic blocks to the S of t grid (see top plan p. 34 W284). The light patch is possible fill replacing a robbed out block.
