Stratum:   Foundation trench to the west of Wall 289. The stratum is light/medium reddish brown silty clay with 10% pebbles and few cobbles, compact.
Notes:   B 15 is the removal of the clayish soil between B 14 and W 289, which was also cut by Pit 2006-01. After a little bit we came down upon a pocket of tile and stone, which was a very condensed pocket. Although the soil is not very different, we decided to remove the tile/stone pocket and the soil in and around it as a separate basket. We sieved 80% and reserved 20% for the water-sieve. See below for photo of the tile/rubble pocket. See pg. 24 for top plan.
