Stratum:   Pit fill for GR 2006-4. Soil is medium reddish brown, silty clay, 20% pebbles, 10% cobbles, loose.
Notes:   B 61 is the removal of the soil just south of the remains of Wall 215 and west of the pit cut for the grave. It is directly north of B 57. We are removing this layer to find both the extent of the pit out to the east and to come down above the sarcophagus lid and find the point at which it intersects Wall 215. We stopped this basket so as to avoid coming down upon a vessel which we know is below the soil in order to take it out tomorrow. We sieved 100%. See pg. 116 for top plan.
