Soil is dark reddish brown sandy silty clay w/ 30% pebbles, 5% cobbles, loose. | Notes: | | B 72 is the opening of the sarcophagus lid. There is clay which seems ot have sealed the lid to the sarcophagus. It is a white clay lining the edge of the sarcophagus top. We are keeping all the soil from the sarcophagus. This is the removal operation and cleaning of the edges. We are saving 100% of the soil for water sieve. One sherd was found directly north (yet outside) of the sarcophagus lid. We kept clay pieces from the "sealing". See top plan on pg. 130. | Context Pottery: | | Fineware. EG amphora bs 1 (saved to lot) . | Pottery Summary: | | 1 frag(s) 0.01 kg.
