Corinth Basket: NB980 B27 P72
Collection:   Corinth
Type:   Basket
Name:   NB980 B27 P72
Area:   Panaghia north
Category:   Basket/zembil
Notebook:   980
Context:   27
Page:   72
Date:   2006/05/26
Stratum:   light reddish brown, soft, 5% fine-medium pebbles, poorly sorted silty sand
Notes:   B27 is for the removal of a distinct reddish soil to the N of a tile layer (B26) which may be a pit and seems to be later than the tile. This area contained more and more clay until it covered the basket area. At this soil change, the basket was closed and will be continued in B28. The reddish brown earth from this basket clearly covered several tiles at the NW edge of the tile layer.
