Notes:   B29 is the continuation of the removal of the cutting dug in B27 and B28. A strip of brown earth was reached at the bottom of the basket extending from the gravel patch to the W edge; this strip will remain in place for now and the area of remaining reddish-brown earth will continue to be dug in a new basket B30.
