Stratum:   light brownish brown, very soft, 20% fine pebbles - cobbles, poorly sorted fine sand
Notes:   B39 is for the digging of the area below the tiles (from B34) where somewhat hard clayey earth remained; the earth at the bottom of this basket is essentially the same as the rest of the earth in the W portion of the trench exposed by B37. The earth may be essentially the same, but due to inclusions of pebble/tile, it will be dug in B41. A block below the one marked on the plan was loctaed at the bottom of this pass.
