Stratum:   Light brownish brown, very soft, 10% fine-medium pebbles, 2% cobbles, poorly sorted fine sand.
Notes:   B43 will rmove another layer of brownish soil that sits at a slightly higher level than the rest of the trench. This earth is essentially the same as that as in the W portion of the trench (E of the Wall) and still harder than the soft strip running N-S at the trench's center (B33).
