Name:   NB980 B8 P28
Area:   Panaghia north
Category:   Basket/zembil

Context:   8
Page:   28
Date:   2006/05/17
Stratum:   Grave, light brownish brown, very soft, 20% fine-medium pebbles, poorly sorted silty sand
Notes:   Basket 8 is for the removal of a grave (GR2006-5). It seems that a presumably later grave, GR-2001-21, apparently cut into it and removed most of the remains. The skull is visible and one large stone brackets the skull to the S. Some crumbly tile pieces, a few tiny pieces of charcoal, and pottery, are in the soil deposit. After further excavation, it appears that this grave, GR2006-05, was not disturbed by the later grave, GR2001-21, and in fact is intact.
