Notes:   With B87 we dig the soft brown earth above and to the E of the water channel's E wall. The earth here is the same as that inside the channel. The stones cemented into the channel walls are visible in the rolled over E lip/wall. At the bottom of B87 are stones that appear to be a continuation of the rocky earth that runs into the E scarp of the pipe trench.
