Notes:   The matrix of this basket is medium brown sandy silt, compact, with 5-10% cobbles and 2% small boulders. B11 is the exploration of a small area attached to W282 and to the N of the first bothros pit (B5). The soil seemed to be of a light brown color, differentiated from an orange brown pebbly layer that surrounded it to the E. The first hypothesis about the deposit of B32 was that it was a continuation of the foundation trench of W282 dug in B11, though the starting elevation of B32 is below the bottom of the wall. The E boundary of the deposit does not seem to run parallel with the E wall of the cellar 2005-1 or with W282 either. The boundary of the deposit is formed by a series of boulders ca. 0.25 m. across that might be the wall of the cistern. The basket was stopped when the hole between the wall and the E boundary became too deep and narrow to excavate, though it seems likely that the deposit continues downward, perhaps representing the foundation trench of the cellar 2005-1 (bottom elevation 90.16). The deposit produced a fair amount of pottery and a loom-weight, all seeming of Hellenistic date.
