| Stratum: | Dumped fill in Cistern 2006-01. Reddish brown sandy silt, weakly cemented, with 10-20% tiles and large angular pebbles. | |
| Notes: | We are continuing to remove red fill from inside the basin, E of the floor surface, now that the other stone group is removed (B80). The fill was somewhat harder than B79 above, and the B80 stone feature was set on it (at a slope), so this is a distinct layer, but probably is just another lens of fill from one dumping operation. We sieved the fill. It became harder still on the level at ca. 91,50-.55, so we are closing for another basket. | |
