Notes:   The matrix of this basket is medium reddish brown sandy silt, compact, with 10% pebble inclusions. B31 is in the same area with B30. On the last pass of B30 a slight difference was noted in the soil which contained more pebbles and had a reddish brown color. After one pass in B31 a few different cuts could be seen. To the W of the two new blocks an even more reddish soil extends for ca. 0.75 m, while after that and all the way to the W scarp the soil is somewhat lighter in color. It was decided to stop the basket at this point and deal with these cuts individually.
