Stratum:   Mixed fill west of pit 2006-4. Light yellowish-brown, poorly-cemented, 35% inclusions, poorly sorted, pebbles and cobbles.
Notes:   A pass to the west of pit 2006-4. This basket uncovered fragments of amphorae and tile in a limited amount. We also uncovered a piece of mud brick: 6.2 cm thick, 14.2 cm wide, length unpreserved. We aslo uncovered a minimal amount of glass and bronze wasters. A southwest portion of the basket also revealed the edge of a soil composition change with a high percentage of cobbles. This edge may mark the cutting for the previously excavated Geometric tomb to the south (?).
